I purchased almost 6 thousand dollars worth of furniture from Ashley including an accent chair. In the midst of owning the furniture my puppy had gotten my chair dirty with dirt. I had some other delivery damage so I called the protection people. After about 2 weeks of trying to get through they finally set up an appointment to come clean the chair. Since the other furniture was still under the stores warranty I would need to have ashley come and repair those items. I started this process in Jan 2021 and finally in March 2021 they came to repair the furniture, I was told that a separate tech would come to clean the chair. The tech came repaired all the items and asked me if I just wanted him to clean the chair. I said no that the other company was supposed to come as well he insisted that he clean it and that it would be fine no worries. After the tech left I noticed that he had overcleaned my chair causing it to look faded and dated in parts. I called ashley and they said they would send another tech to access the damage. The other tech in fact told me that the chair was ruined and that they would replace it. Come to find out that chair was no longer available and so they said they would re upholster it, I refused I wanted another chair and agreed to get a complete different one. After going back and forth with corporate, the store and the protection ppl they finally agreed to give me a store credit. Every chair I picked was going to take 8 to 12 weeks to be delivered. At this point I was tired of hassling with them and just wanted a refund. Finally 5 months later a million calls and endless hours of being on hold they are coming to get the chair and issue me a refund this customer service from them has been horrible and a never ending nightmare.
Waited since August now to receive my order. Once they got all my money no-one cared past that point if I get it or not since its not cancelable . Totally not right.

I purchased a rocker recliner from Ashley Home furniture on May 8, 2021. I depend on this chair because due to health issue I must sleep in it.
After two weeks the lower part of the arms did not have padding so the wood started poking into both of my legs. The back of the chair started to separate from the seat creating a large gap that everything and anything could fall into. The Ashley Store in East Peoria IL where I bought the chair advised me because it had been 2 weeks there was nothing they could do but if I wanted to take pictures and send them someone could decide if it could be repaired or not. All I wanted to do was exchange the chair for different chair.
I would even pay more for a better chair if necessary. They advised me that this was not possible.

DONT BUY ANYthing from not only this store, but any Ashley stores.
Customer service is horrible. The communication system is horrible. They missed the delivery twice without notifying. I canceled the order because of that. But They still took the restocking fee.
I even wrote a letter to the HQ, but the letter was completely disregarded.
I certainly would do my best to spread the word.
When a company like this one out of business, I would do nothing but laugh.

I would like to share a review regarding my recent visit to the First St, Burbank, Ca location. My son his wife and my two granddaughters went to purchase to bed, bed frames, and a living room couch totaling around 12k. We started around 3 pm on May 11th. Working with the saleslady she started helping my daughter-in-law and I worked on picking out beds and bedframes. They worked with them to finish up the couch and make payments so roughly around 530 they were finished when they started when I started the paperwork, around this time my granddaughters were getting fidgety as we weren't expecting to take so long as we hadn't had dinner at this time. While working on the computer to complete the paperwork I applied for financing after completing financing I was told by the saleslady that they had computer problems so we had to start over again. Hours later by 8 we had not finished and we did our best to keep the kids calm however being stuck at the furniture store and having a manager have to keep assisting wasn't speeding up the process. by around 8:20 my youngest granddaughter who is not three yet started playing with a sales sign. So the manager spoke to her directly stating these signs are very important. Then he says "I swear to God I need these signs". That is never appropriate to say to any customer let alone you're paying the customer's child. As a full-grown man looks menacing to a child. She started to hide behind her mother and he had the nerve to say "Don't cry".

If I could leave a negative 100 I would. This has been the worse customer service experience I had ever in life. From the store customer service in Bay Plaza in the Bronx to the customer service over the phone and cooperate. This is not how you run a business. I purchase furniture with this company a year and half ago everything was fine perfect service no complaints. However I recently purchased furniture on 03/20/21 this was a big mistake I was sold an adjustable base that was not compatible with my storage bed. I was told at first my purchase could not be return once it was delivered. Which is a horrible policy if it’s nothing I can do, if the base was not compatible with my bed. I spoke to several people from customer service who were rude and not professional. I finally spoke to corporate a gentleman named Darnell who was very understanding and nice he was able to return my purchase and have it picked up on 03/30/21. I was told my $250 I paid in the store towards the base will be refunded 5-7 business days. Now those days have passed I still have no refund spoke to customer service they are telling me they do not see a refund on their end and will have to transfer me to the store in Bay Plaza. I spoke to this rude girl from the store janiyah who was very unprofessional I asked to speak to a manager several times. I asked her why was I getting the run around she gave me attitude the whole phone call then had then nerve to say my refund will need to be approved by a manager, which I’m not seeing why if it’s my money I am entitled too. This experience with them has been a huge headache, I never had such bad customer service this is not how you run a business. I will never shop nor recommend this company and location to anyone. I finally received my refund to my debit card and credit card which was not the full refund. They charged me $1083 on my credit card I was only refunded $1012.93 and left with a $70.77 balance. I was told I had to pay a delivery fee which is non refundable. This is ridiculous the furniture was not compatible with my bed I shouldn’t have to pay anything. When I called to speak to a manger Nicole she told a rep she will not help me and rejected my call. I was then transferred to a manger by the name of Rachel who was also unprofessional and nonchalant about my situation. If this is how your managers act this is insane where was the compassion and understanding. We’re in a pandemic I have no money to waste. Instead the attitude I received from both managers was oh well it’s your problem we can’t help. The CEO of this company should be ashamed they need to clean house and have a better hiring process every one sucks and have bad attitudes
Ashley Home Store, Sunrise Florida, AKA City Furniture will not honor the 120 Day Mattress Comfort Guarantee. The sales practice regarding this is deceptive and misleading.

On June 9, 2020, I purchased furniture for 3 rooms; King Headboard B776-158, king footboard w/storage B776-56S, king panel rails B776-97, 5 drawer chest B776-46, 2 three drawer nightstands B776-93, Dresser B776-31, bar table with storage D647-42, 4 upholstered barstools D647-124S, lift top cocktail table T637-20, power rec sofa U4370247, power rec loveseat U4370218, wedge U4370271, GBS 5 yr protection 5000-5999 at Ashley Homestore in Cordova, TN. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my entire order. In August, I cancelled my power rec sofa U4370247, power rec loveseat U4370218, and wedge U4370271, because they kept pushing the delivery date back, but for 3 months they kept calling to try to schedule delivery. I should have cancelled the bedroom furniture at that time too, but they talked me into keeping the order open by telling me no other furniture company could meet the delivery dates either due to Covid issues. I am frustrated and disappointed because it has been eight months and I am still sleeping on the floor, and being told that my furniture will be delivered on XX/XX/XX date. I’ve made countless phone calls and texts with nothing but future promise dates. On Jan 21, I was told the furniture would be at the warehouse on the 26th. I called on the 26th and I was told my order was cancelled. I was then told a manager would call me in about 20 minutes (was told this before) and never received a call. On Feb 8 I called to the store to ask them to cancel and pick up the 1/2 of the bedroom they delivered because I cannot use it without the rest. I was informed by Kirby that I cannot return the pieces they delivered and that her manager, Monica, would contact me. I have not heard back at this time.
wish I read the review for Ashley Homestore before I made a purchase. My story is just like the others. You make a purchase, pay in full and WAIT. they promised the 1st week in January & called me the end of December to tell me the furniture was going to be delivered next week. I was excited & immediately sold my current living room sofa. THEN came the call that it's delayed and only the end pieces of the sectional are available. I was told I have to wait another month for the 3 inside pieces. Now I have no furniture so I took the end pieces & here it is February and no inside pieces available YET. Not sure how this company stays in business. I called the salesperson numerous times but she neither answers the phone or returns the call. Ashly Homestore SUCKS.
I sold my house my deceased husband built after living there for 65 years. This was a very emotional process.
On Sept.6, 2020 my daughter helped me shop for new furniture for my new apartment.
I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in Lancaster,PA for a sofa and 2 kitchen bar stools and paid in full $1346.20 including delivery on my VISA card.
I was promised delivery by Nov.6, 2020 when I planned to move into my new apartment.
My daughter called on Nov.6th, and was told delivery was delayed until Jan.19th for the stools; Feb.6, 2021 for the sofa, and they would keep updated every two weeks via email on status.
No updates ever received and called numerous times to get updates.
Called on Jan.13, 2021 for update and told delivery date now March 20, 2021.
Called the store today, Jan.14, 2021 and told I need to come into the store in person to cancel and process the refund. Given my age (88), health issues, and COVID situation I’m unwilling to do this.
So I submitted a request for refund though the Ashley Furniture Customer Facebook Group and informed my Credit card company to dispute this charge.
The sales man was very helpful but every other aspect of sale was bad. Called to check on delivery status, was on hold for an hour only to be hung up on. Tried again same result. My delivery was suppose to be on dec 28 of 2020. Did not come. Now delivery is friday the 15th of january 2021,with only half of my order being delivered. Cannot get the date for the remainder of order to be delivered. This store tells lies. They lie about production, delivery, and quality. Customer service is rude , slow and uncaring about their products. Do not buy from them. Beware of the fraud.
